1. Who we are

GoldMarketRecap (goldmarketrecap.com, the "Website") is owned and operated by Connect 4 Marketing Ltd. ("Connect 4", "we", "us" or "our"), Unit 702, 5505 Boulevard Du Quartier, Brossard, Quebec J4Z 0R9, Canada.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the Website, our email newsletter, our text messages and our notifications (together, the "Service"), how we use it, who we share it with and your rights. By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. Our content and sponsors

The Website publishes financial news and articles about gold, mining and publicly listed companies. Some articles are sponsored: the company featured pays Connect 4 to publish them. Every sponsored page clearly discloses that it is paid content and the compensation received.

We do not sell securities, provide personalized investment advice or process investment transactions. Nothing on the Service is a recommendation to buy or sell any security.

We do not give sponsors your name, email address or phone number. We may share aggregated, non-identifying statistics with sponsors, such as page views, clicks and subscriber counts.

3. Information we collect

Information you give us:

• Email address, first and last name
• Phone number, if you sign up for text messages
• Province, state or country, if you provide it in a form
• Any message you send us

Information collected automatically:

• Usage data, such as IP address, browser type and version, device type, pages visited, time and date of visit and time spent on pages

8. Email, text messages and push notifications

Email: you can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email or by contacting us.

Text messages: if you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we may send you recurring automated marketing messages about our content. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE or QUIT to opt out, or HELP for help. We only text numbers that were given to us directly with your consent.

Push notifications: when you first visit the Website, you can accept or refuse push notifications. You can turn them off at any time in your browser or device settings.

9. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, or longer if the law requires it. When you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we delete or anonymize it, except what we must keep for legal reasons.

We protect personal information with reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access limited to authorized staff and two-factor authentication on the accounts that store subscriber data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

11. Where your information is stored

Your information may be stored and processed outside Quebec and Canada, mainly in the United States, by our service providers. The laws there may differ from those where you live. Before transferring information outside Quebec, we assess whether it will be adequately protected.

13. Your rights

Canada and Quebec: you have the right to access your personal information, to have it corrected, to withdraw your consent, to ask us to delete it or stop disseminating it, and to receive it in a structured, commonly used technological format. European Union and United Kingdom (GDPR): you have the right to access, correct, delete and transfer your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, including for direct marketing, and to withdraw consent. You can complain to your local data protection authority.

To use any of these rights, contact us (section 20). We may ask you to verify your identity. We respond within 30 days, or as required by law.

14. California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

In the last 12 months we collected:

• Internet activity (how you interact with the Website, our emails and our ads)

Sources: you directly, your use of the Service, and our analytics and advertising providers.

We do not sell personal information for money. Our use of advertising and analytics cookies may count as "selling" or "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You can opt out through your cookie settings, the opt-out links in section 7, or by contacting us.

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and share, to access, correct and delete it, to opt out of its sale or sharing, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. We respond to verified requests within 45 days, which we may extend once by 45 days with notice.

Under California's Shine the Light law, you can ask once a year how we shared your personal information with third parties for their direct marketing.

15. Do Not Track

The Website does not respond to Do Not Track browser signals.

16. Children

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

17. Links to other websites

The Service may link to websites we do not operate, including those of companies we write about. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please read their privacy policies.

18. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, notify you by email or a notice on the Website.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
